Description: If you're looking for a good value computer for home, take a good look at the eMachines T5026 PC. The eMachines brand built a reputation
for good value computers and the T5025 is no exception with many of the most wanted features found on much more expensive computers. It comes with a Intel Pentium 4 processor 519 @ 3.06 GHz, plenty of RAM with 512 MB of Dual Channel DDR333 SDRAM which is expandable to 4 GB. The video is driven by an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900 with DirectX 9 support and up to 224MB of shared video memory. Shared video memory means the video memory is shared with the main system's RAM. The eMachines T5026 has ample storage with a 160 GB SATA 7200RPM hard drive with 8MB Cache plus a DVD -RW / CDRW combo drive with dual layer ability. The sound comes from an Intel High Definition 6-channel audio. If you have a digital camera, you'll appreciate the 8-in-1 Digital Media Manager with a built-in USB 2.0 port that supports Secure Digital (SD), Smart Media, Micro Drive, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, Compact Flash, & Multimedia Card (MMC). You'll also get a 56K V.92 fax modem, 10/100 ethernet jack, 7 USB 2.0 ports with 2 ports in the front case, 3 FireWire ports with 2 in front, 1 VGA port, 1 serial port, 1 parallel port, 2 PS/2 ports, and 5 audio jacks with 2 in the front of the case. This eMachines T5026 includes a standard keyboard, 2-button wheel mouse, amplified stereo speakers, Windows XP Home Edition SP2, Microsoft Works 8.0, Microsoft Money 2004, PowerDVD, & more. A good value for about $600.
