The first feature that stands out in this notebook is the large 17 inch screen with a native LCD Resolution of 1440 x 900. Most current users of a laptop would likely appreciate this feature. The good features don't stop at the large screen, this notebook boasts a powerful Intel Pentium 4 processor 3.2 GHz, 512MB of PC2700 DDR - SDRAM (expandable to 2GB) and an advanced Nvidia GeForce FX Go5700 graphics with 64MB of DDR memory. Hewlett-Packard didn't stop there, they also included a 100 GB Hard Drive, a DVD RW Writer (also writes to CD-R & CD-RW media), built-in 802.11g Wi-Fi wireless networking adapter, 5-in-1 built-in memory card reader that supports Secure Digital (SD), MultiMedia Card (MMC), Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, & SmartMedia, a 56K fax modem, 16-bit Sound Blaster Pro compatible sound with internal Harmen/Kardon speakers, 1 Type I/II 32-bit card bus PC Card slot, ports include 10/100 ethernet, 4 USB 2.0, 1 FireWire, 1 parallel, 1 S-Video out, 1 VGA monitor out, 1 headphone out, 1 microphone in, & 1 FIR -(Fast Infrared).
